Supply and installation of earthing and bonding for Sydney Light Rail Traction Substation including 4 x 20m electrodes drilled into rock at basement level.

This was the initial stage of the project. The remaining works involve supplying and installing copper earth loop bar in the basement along with bonding to various equipment in both the basement and the ground floor. This is one of eight substations that Earthing Solutions was contracted to construct for the Sydney Light Rail project.

Challenge: Access was tight but Earthing Solutions managed it with ease employing the company’s compact drilling equipment.
