Earthing Solutions was contracted by Novorail on behalf of Sydney Trains to supply and install deep earth electrodes for 12 x timber pole aerial earths, and deep earth electrodes and connection for the traction substation for the Blacktown to Maryong area upgrade.

Challenge : The work had to be completed according to a tight deadline with access restricted to a 2-day possession weekend. The work site was the train stabling yard and access was tight due to the presence of the trains. Additional care was needed working around these assets.

To deliver the project effectively, Earthing Solutions utilised premium organisation and management skills.

Result: The earthing works were completed successfully and on time.
