Supply and installation of complete earth grid system including buried earth grid, surface mounted earth grid, crimped connections, and connections to fence post and gates.

The earth bar and connections were installed in the substation basement. The work required skilled personnel and specialised equipment.

The project also included the supply and installation of 10 x 15m-deep earth electrodes and 3 x 20m lightning masts with steel reinforced foundations requiring a city crane for manoeuvring into place. Earthing Solutions had to work closely with the client to manage access restrictions.

Challenge : The project required tight safety measures as the temporary substation was present at all times during construction.
