Supplied and installed lightning masts and down conductors for the Sydney Water Picton Project including:

• 12 x 1m copper lightning masts attached to Colorbond® roofing and structures
• 25mm x 3mm tinned copper down conductors, test links and connections to electrodes.

Challenge:

Access to the area was tight and an elevated work platform (EWP) was employed to install the down conductors and lightning masts. Configuring and installing the down conductors required a high level of skill due to the various building configurations.

Result:

As always safety was a high priority, and the project was completed without incident to the client’s design requirements and satisfaction.
